• Bemerkung

• The Philco model 645 series (1936) is a follow-on to the 640 series (1935) and uses a 7-tube 3-band chassis with shadow meter (tuning aid). The bands covered are BC, 1.75-5.8 MHz, and 5.75-18 MHz.
  
  There are two individual models with different cabinet styles. Model 645B is a simple rectangular tombstone with rounded upper corners. Model 645K is a floor-type console with a slightly tapered (trapezoidal) profile.
  
  The model 37-640 series (1936-37) is electrically very similar, although the latter series has updated tubes and different band coverage.

  Stein mentions this model as a  two bands radio.
