  • A 2 band battery powered table radio in a bakelite cabinet designed by Raymond Lowey. Automatic Teledial tuning with 7 push buttons preset to 7 MW and 3 LW radio stations,  glowing beam station indicator and manual tuning (MW 200-550 metres, LW 1100-1900 metres). With full delayed A.V.C., and extension speaker sockets. The batteries required are a 2 volt LT accumulator and a combined 120 volt HT / 9 volt grid bias battery, the Ever Ready Portable 34 is suitable.

    The same chassis is fitted into the Philco Empire Automatic De Luxe S521W table radio housed in a wooden cabinet.
