• The 1939 version of Philco Transitone model PT-25 is marked as code 121 and has horizontal ribs across the speaker grill of its dark brown bakelite cabinet. The version 1940 is marked code 122 and has horizontal sloped louvers across the speaker grill. The same grill has version 1941 with a slightly different scale.

  Models PT-26 are the same but have a Built-In Loop Aerial. Of our knowledge all models PT-25 and PT-26 have dark knobs.

  The versions of PT-27 differ with ivory painted bakelite cabinets and knobs. Models PT-28 are the same but have a Built-In Loop Aerial.
