  • Annotazioni
  • The Philco model T-7 series includes Philco's first transistor radio. The first version, model T-7 Code 124, was introduced in 1956 for the 1957 model year, and was followed by T-7 Code 126, which is identical in design except for slight circuit changes and one different transistor for the audio driver. Both of these versions have a painted metal perforated grill which is large enough and soft enough that the owner's thumbs and fingers could dent it just by picking it up. Model T-7X (also marked Code 128) was introduced in 1957 for the 1958 model year, and had an improved case with more durable plastic louvers instead of the perforated metal grill.
