On the front, the scale and four knobs, for range selection, on-off/volume, tone and tuning. The wave change switch also includes the "AFC" position, that is, the automatic frequency control for FM transmissions, which means a certain circuit preciosity for the radios of the sixties. On the left side, sockets, for external antenna, for external power supply and for earphone/phono. On the top, the fully retractable telescopic antenna, five sections, 56 cm and leather handle, with full excursion. To access the battery compartment, you need to turn 90 degrees inward two screws located on the back of the radio, at the top.
Inside, 18 cm ferrite and speaker with the writings 8 Ω, 1 W, Japan.
The radio seems to be a clone of the Schaub Lorenz Amigo 50K model. Probably the speaker is something inferior, at least in size. It is stated online that two versions of this model were built in Germany, the T909-GR for the Italian market and the T909-BR for the American market.
