  • This service sheet describes variants of the 203U which do not appear in the original service documentation from 1941. It was published at a later date and might therefore describe details that were introduced at a later date.

    The model uses uses speaker type 9668 or 9712 unless otherwise specified. Other differences are:

    • The base model has 125/220 Volt mains switchable (optionally 110/200 Volt by short circuiting resistor R38)
    • Suffix -01 and -02 have 110, 125, 220 Volt mains switchable
    • Suffix -01 uses speaker type 9668U-50
    • Suffix -09, -12, and -37 can be operated from 150 to 220 Volt mains
    • Suffix -09 uses speaker type 9668-50

    So far, no actual radios are known showing these suffixes. Please refer to the respective model entries for 203U:

    • Netherlands: Philetta 203U without ventilation holes (1941)
    • Netherlands: Philetta 203U with ventilation holes (ca 1945)
    • Germany: Aachen-Super 203U without ventilation holes (1941)
    • Germany: Aachen-Super 203U with ventilation holes (1941)
