  • The CD960 was a very early consumer CD player introduced by Philips. It was built around the Philips CDM-0 laser mechanism, the same as used in the early series of Revox B-225 CD player, with the TDA1541 16-bit D/A converter and a four times oversampling digital filter. Several evolutions of the CDM-0 drive were made before replacing it with the CDM-1
