  • Tha Canadian Philips radio P143 from Philips Industries Ltd. was made in different versions, for instance also as P143-3 with other tubes (valves). The cabinet is the same, except the "back wall". The scale shows two readings for the broadast band, meters (550 - 200 m) and below khz (550 - 1600), plus a smaller row with the numbers 0-5-10-15-20-25-30-35-40. That looks like a multi band receiver what it is not. The models P133 and P143 share the same schematic, but not P143-3. P143-3 seems to be quite newer since it can only have appeared in 1956 (or later).
