  • Remarques

  • By mid 80´s modular hifi - also called "separates" - were a hit in Brazlian market, in spite of they high price. In an attempt to make this concept more accessible, thereby increasing its market share, Philips' commercial department briefed the local audio lab (at the time in Piracicaba city) to develop some families of modular sets with low cost and basic specifications. These families were composed by the following models:

    06AH621 and 06AH625 = Receivers
    06AH325 = Stereo amplifier
    06AH125 = Tuner
    06AW620, 06AW622 and 06AW721 = Cassette record/players
    06AF294 = Turntable
    Dedicated speaker boxes for each family and and a wood rack

    06AH625 Receiver

    Tuner section:

    2 band MW and FM, analog tuning
    MW = 520 to 1610 kHz
    FM = 88 to 108 MHz

    Amplifier section:

    Output power = 2x 28 Watts rms @ 1% THD
    Frequency response = 30 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB)
    Load impedance = 8 Ohms
    Controls:           Treble = + - 10dB at 10 kHz
                            Bass = + - 10 dB at 100 Hz
                            Loudness = + 7dB at 100 Hz and 10 kHz

    High filter = - 12dB at 7 kHz
    Low filter = -12dB at 100 Hz
