Tragbarer Photo CD-Player, Audio-CD-Player, Kopfhörerausgang, Euro-AV Ausgang, PAL/NTSC, S-VHS Ausgang, Audio-Digitalausgang, Fernbedienung, Spielzeit mit Accu 1 Std.
The player had an optional rechargable pack that fitted inside the stand. Power is 8V DC using a coaxial socket on the stand. The mains PSU is a separate unit with moulded pins for a particular market, i.e. Europlug for 220V or UK type for UK/Ireland (240V/230V) or USA 110V with twin blades.
The formats supported: Audio CD, Photo-CD and Portfolio CD (Vorbespielt Photo-CD). Portfolio CD is a mix of CD Audio and Photo CD data with an interactive script. The cost of the authouring tool (Kodak only) and Portfolio disc cost resulted in little support. The Portfolio CD mode needs a video screen and the remote for the interactive menus.
It was also sold by Apple as the Power CD and Kodak as the PCD 880.
The multipole connector at the rear has power, video and audio. A Panasonic Video camera view finder works on it. An adaptor cable was supplied for A/V use. Composite and Y/C (S-Video) outputs in PAL or NTSC. The power pack uses a 9 pin D socket.
User manual: At least an English / Dutch / German version.
