- The Pilot Radio model G-576B has a tuning eye. Guest Dan Krige from South Africa tells us the following: "This model is very similar in appearance to the Pilot model made in Great Britain, U650, but the technical specifications of the two models are different. The G-575B is a 115 - 240V AC model with a medium-wave band and three shortwave bands. The lables on the chassis indicate that this model was manufactured in New York, but there is also a label stuck inside the wooden casing that indicates that the set was marketed in South Africa and that the manufacturer's guarantee would be honoured through a South African-based firm."
