This is the European model of Stereo Amplifier SA-770. It was produced in 3 versions: HE for Europe (220 V); HB for United Kingdom (220/240 V switchable); HEZ for West Germany (220/240 V switchable). Wiring of this model is particular. Many wires are wound to the terminals ("wire-wrap") instead of soldered. It was an old system used in Japan at the beginning of the development of printed circuit boards.
Inputs: Phono, tuner, CD/video, tape with monitor and ouput for recording.
Frequency response: Phono (RIAA) 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Tuner, CD and Tape: 10 Hz to 70 kHz. Tone controls: Bass and Treble ± 10 dB. Speaker impedance: 6 to 16 Ω. Continuous output power is 50 W per channel at 8 Ω with no more than 0.2% total harmonic distortion. Power consumption: 400 W European version). Two AC output switched socket and one direct.
Transistors and ICs are listed one per type. 27 transistors, 4 ICs and 1 bridge rectifier 4B4B42.
