1150FM is a medium range receiver, with a chassis made in Germany and speaker which seems Japanese. The sound quality is quite poor with no bass. The sensitivity is however good.
This set does not compare well with previous Pizon Bros receivers. It is basically a relabeled ITT product, see Schaub-Lorenz Polo T60L.
