  • The same cabinet can be found with the name Superdyne, General or Westminster. We do not know the technical difference yet and therefore keep the three models on this page - until we know more. They sport a chrome grill and art deco inspired escutcheons around the dials. They seem to have been made at "Plant A, Chicago", see orange tag on chassis. We think that the chassis is very similar or the same as 6524 Pokeradio. The tubes are the same. The Pla-Pal model 586DC has a resistance line cord for 110V. The tuning scale shows only numbers - from 0 to 100, not frequencies or meters. The socket on the chassis seems to be for lower voltage battery operation (we copied from the other model).
