Plaza portable Gramophone, DeLuxe PAL model, 1926. This ad appeared on March 15, 1926 in the American magazine «Talking Machine World» and is typical of the place and time. American portables, and especially more expensive versions such as the PAL, had a more luxurious appearance than their British equivalent and were more reminiscent of cosmetic cases than briefcases (see also 113A/160 Columbia, which shows the same trend). The new PAL is furnished in black and three colors: Blue red and brown.

Portatile Plaza, modello DeLuxe PAL, 1926.
