    This model is an earlier version of Model 7001 and was produced by Thom & Smith prior to the firm becoming Pope Electronics. Models 21K53 & 7001 are distinguished by the lettering on the top of the bezel. 21K53 shows "Motorola" & 7001 shows "Pope Motorola".
