Pope Motorola "Washington"
Vertical console TV receiver with big 21" screen, giving 263 sq. in. picture area from an aluminised tube. Cabinet in walnut, maple or rosewood. Ultra-wide angle vision fitted with optically curved "glare-guard" safety glass. Has up-front tuning and swivel base. (MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
This model is an earlier version of Model 7001 and was produced by Thom & Smith prior to the firm becoming Pope Electronics. Models 21K53 & 7001 are distinguished by the lettering on the top of the bezel. 21K53 shows "Motorola" & 7001 shows "Pope Motorola".
