• Remarques

• The Prestel TV60 is an early television video projector. There are documents about it from 1958, into "ANIE catalogs". It depends partly on Philips technologies and components, like e.g. the EHT 25 kV supply and the projection Schmidt optic block.

  Around the TV60 model there is some mystery, because another TV60 version is known, similar to this one in appearance, but a lot different in electronics. This mysterious TV60 has mains isolating transformer, tube rectifier power supply, american type tubes and a different control panel, while this model has selenium rectifiers and all european tubes.

  Official catalogues (also 1958 first appearance) described always the European tubed TV60 version, although there are inconsistencies in specifications among different years of publication (PY82 is wrong, instead there is a PY83; power requirement was 250W in 1958 and 200W in 1961, but the weight was 19kg in 1958 and 20kg in 1961; there are silicon rectifiers in 1958 (!!!) and correct selenium ones in 1961, etc.).
