Tuning Scale shows National for 1500m (200kHz) LW, which puts the Radio before 1946 (Home Service. Later Light Program is on 1500m till 1978 when Home -> R4, Light -> R2 and Third -> R3, with R4 on 1500m, now 198kHz rather than 200KHz). The Tuning scale also has Dublin, Cork and Athlone stations, but while these all moved to Athlone frequency during WWII, many post WWII sets still mark them. But Dublin is about 275m (1933?) rather than original 396m (1926).
It shares some design & package similarity to the TRF/Regenerative 1935 Pye T/Q but seems older than the 1939 or 1949 "new Baby Q" But it could be earlier, later or contemporary to the 1937 "baby Q". However the chassis is like none of these with unusually only the tubes above the chassis plate. It would certainly be possible to be as late as 1940 but unlikely to be earlier than 1936.
"TRF with reaction/regenerative" is assumed from control/scale panel. There are a few such Pye "portables".
The PYE service manual for the 808 was issued in July 1938. Seen a few times at UK "swap meets"
