Pye TS5 Stereophone
Modern styled "total sound" stereogram, incorporating radio. European 'furniture' styling featuring a medium width cabinet offset by five vertical panels and finished in walnut, maple, rosewood or teak.
Features: chassis, all-valve chassis giving 7-valve functions. Studio Control Panel: all controls conveniently grouped for ease of selection, Provision for recording mono stereo and recording 'singalong' with mono. Microphone socket, stereo headphone socket (stereo headphones available as optional extra); All-States radio dial with special kilo-Hertz scaling and twin tuning pointers; bass and treble control; loudness control, automatically boosts bass as volume is increased.
Record changer: BSR Floating-Action Monarch auto changer for any size record, any speed. Supplied with sapphire stylus.
Speakers: two 8" twin-cone, wide range giving four sound sources, acoustically tuned in vented enclosures.
Accessories: microphone for 'singalong' or public address.
