A 22 cm / 9 inch (8 x 6 inch visible size) round CRT "Black Screen" B/W 405 lines TV with a single channel GB VHF band I tuner, aligned to the Birmingham (Sutton Coldfield) transmitter channel 4. Sensitivity 175 µV/ sound 50µV. Power consumption 100 - 125 W. Released August 1950 price £33 8s 10d plus purchase tax,See also the similar Pye LV30 London model aligned to the Crystal Palace transmitter (transmitting lower and upper vision carrier side bands), the Pye MV30 Holme Moss model (vestigial sideband) and the Pye BV30C console version.
