    Die Variante PTC2002N ist ein AM-Gerät für das 4 m-Band.
    Bei Geräten für Frequenzen unter 68 MHz entfällt eine Röhre 6BH6.

    The Ranger series includes units for the frequency range 25 to 174 MHz (divided into 9 bands), with AM or FM modulation and with different channel intervals of 20 to 120 kHz. Up to 6 channels (plug-in crystals).
    5/15/25 W output power (AM) devices, 10/25 W (FM) devices, audio output 1.1 W.
    The variant PTC2002N is an AM device for the 4 m band.

    For versions below 68MHz a 6BH6 valve is ommitted.

    Some versions are Boot Mount (US english: Trunk mount)  with a remote dashboard control.
