  • Remarques
  • SS2931 Jamcat is an electronic warfare attachment designed to be used with any combat net radio to provide a low-cost EW capability.
It can also be used as a training attachment. In this role, it can be set up to simulate ECM signals typical of those found in a battlefield situation.
In its combat role, Jamcat can be connected to the audio/keying input of most transmitters, regardless of power output, to transform normal communications equipment into an EW jammer.

Jamcat has four modes of operation.

    • Manual mode the press-to-talk key is used to produce jamming signals on demand.
    • Continuous mode produces signals without operator intervention.
    • Responsive mode uses an internal signal-activated switch to key the transmitter for a short period when a signal is received during a short look-through period.
    • Fast look-through mode Jamcat simulates the effect of a fast look-through responsive jammer.

Power supplies are from a clip-on battery pack, a vehicle system, or the transceiver in use.
    The system will operate from 15 V DC, 21 V DC, or 11 to 32 V DC.
    Consumes 60 mW maximum.
Weighs 1 kg without a battery and 2.1 kg with a battery.
