  • The Radio Craftsmen model 10 (is not model RC-10) is an AC operated AM-FM superheterodyne tuner with power supply. The 6CB6 (not 6AB4) functions as first RF Amplifier, followed by the 12AT7, one half the 6CB6 as second FM and AM RF Amplifier, followed by the Oscillator-AFC, 12AT7 and a second 12AT7 is the mixer, one triode for AM, the other for FM, etc. See also model RC-10 with a magnetic phono preamp. RC-10 has two FM-RF stages, 10 has only one. (One less RF tube was made up with the added mag preamp tube - hence both models have 12 tubes.
    Error: Sam's is listing a 6AX5GT in the resistance measurement table. This must be a 6X5GT, as correctly in the schematic etc.
