Band-pass tuner followed by one HF stage coupled to tuned grid circuit of detector. Choke-filter fed LF transformer. Combined choke and transformer coupling between pentode output valve and low-impedance moving-coil speaker. Single dial control. Moving-coil loudspeaker with field winding used as a smoothing coil. Gramophone and radio volume control combined. Provision for mains aerial.
