  • Anotaciones
  • Radiospares manufactured a wide range of small transformers suitable for powering valved electronic equipment from AC mains. While primarily intended for the replacement market, they were popular for prototype development and some models were also used in production equipment such as Marshall audio amplifiers.

The Radiospares 'Economy' Mains Transformer is intended for use in a conventional circuit with a double diode full-wave rectifier valve and has the following windings:

    Primary:
    Selectable 200-210 V, 220-230 V, 240-250 V 50 Hz
    (Yellow)

    Secondary:
    HT 250-0-250 V, 75 mA
    (Red-Black-Red)
    LT 6.3 V, 2 A
    (Blue)
    Rectifier heater 5 V, 2 A or 6.3 V, 1A
    (Brown-White or Brown-Orange)
    Screen
    (Violet)

Unlike Radiospares 'Heavy-Duty' mains transformers, the windings are brought out directly, instead of being terminated by fixed solder tags. The minimum lead length is 25 cm. The transformer is vacuum impregnated and can be mounted upright or as a chassis drop-through.
