Электрофон был разработан в 1972 году на Рижском электромеханическом заводе (REMR) и предполагался его выпуск до конца года в количестве 3000 штук. В дальнейшем производился под маркой объединения Радиотехника RRR.Транзисторный усилитель 2х10 вт нагружался акустикой 10 МАС-1м.
Electrophone was developed in 1972 in Riga Electrotechnical Works (REMR) and the assumed production quantity until end of year was 3000 pcs. Afterwards production was moved to Radiotehnika RRR trade mark. Tranzistor amplifier 2*10W power, loudspeaker box 10MAS-1M.
