  • Standard model automatic telegraph key. Notice by guest Herman Willemsen, VK2IXV:
Kenco bugs were usually made by Kenmore Co. Boston Mass.
Here pics of my Kenco bug, but in writing on top is the manufacturer Raylynn Mfg Co. Boston Mass
    .
Well, it could be that the bug had to be made by more than one independent manufacturer by government order.

A guest from Australia has sent those pictures with the following questions:

Who knows something about this Raylynn Company?
This looks like a Kenco key, which were usually made by Kenmore Co. Boston. Kenco bugs did not display the name of their maker.

This bug, identical to a Kenco bug has however the manufacturer's name Rayco Raylynn Mfg. Co. written on top of Bakelite base.Does anyone have more information about this company please? Was it a forerunner of Kenmore?

Guests who know anything about this or the other company or about the bug are invited to send us a notice. See the link "Contact" on the footer (of each page). You are welcome.
