  • Notes
  • The RCA Victor model 45-EY-3 is a portable record player (changer) for 45 rpm only. You can stack up to 12 records. It was made with several alterations of the RS-136 chassis as RS-136A, RS-136B and at least also RS-136C. Without suffix, the chassis has only two tubes: 6SQ7 and 25L6-GT and has a special motor for 85 volts, called changer RP-190-3. The motor is in series with the two tubes but in parallel with the 3 tubes. The ones with motor for 115 volts have a changer RP-190-1. Power output undistorted 1.25 watts, max. 1.77 watts. Voice coil impedance 3.2 ohms at 400 cycles, size 4 x 6" (P.M.). Power supply for RS-136 45 watts, for RS-136A etc. 50 watts. We don't know yet the differences between the suffixes.
