  • Notes
  • The RCA 9Y510 is an AC operated combination automatic phonograph and BC band receiver.  The turntable is a 45 RPM ,model RP-190-1, which holds up to twelve 7 inch fine groove records.  The plastic cabinet color is maroon.  Uses Qty(1) 5" x 7" PM speaker.

The BC band frequency range is 540 to 1600kHz.  Uses Qty(2) #1490 dial lamps.

This late production version uses chassis RC-1077C.  The early production version uses chassis RC-1077A, which has a pot mounted speaker instead of a rim mounted speaker and also has a tuning condenser with a shorter shaft which allows use of a different type of drive cord tension spring.

Riders RCA 21-59 to 21-62 schematic is for chassis RC-1077A but the RCA Victor Service Notes for 1950 confirms that chassis RC-1077A and RC-1077C use the same schematic, thus the Riders schematic and alignment data is valid for this model.
