The correct VE 10-70 is a record changer gramophone only, no radio built in. In 1927 it was the top model from RCA Victor and offered an electric pick-up and amplification. The automatic record changer itself was offered first in the model 10-50. It can play up to 12 records automatically. The VE 10-70 has a paper cone-style speaker. About 2500 sets were made of this model. We show this model more for curiosity and to show what fakes can be obtained ... Here a Capehart player was put in plus a receiver. Actually it was on eBay as Capehart Panamuse 110G but it is a Victor RCA cabinet without the original technical installation and perhaps also repainted. This was detected by Bob Baumbach.
