- DIY Kit from RCA Institutes. 3" CRT. Very similar to Eico Oscilloscope 430. The circuit for the RCA Institutes 54-45 is essentially the same as the Eico 430, except the 54-45 is simpler - it excludes voltage regulation (0A2), there is one less stage in the sweep circuit (12AU7) and it does not provide for direct vertical input. Some R and C values differ between the two.
