    The schematic shown for the RCA WE50A indicates via a handwritten note, that 220VAC is input power.  This model runs only on 120VAC as the neon on lamp circuit with the 100k resistor as a giveaway.  The 50B model, has a dual primary that can be set up for 220 AC and the neon circuit is then hooked between one end of the primary and to the mid point of the two primaries when hooked together for 220.  While there are similarities bewteen A and B models, there are many other differences between the A and B models that if you are not aware of could lead to shock hazards.  Don't assume the B schematic is close enough to the A.
