  • The tubes lised above are only unique values, actual count has two 12AX7, nine 6BQ7A, four 12AT7, two 12AU7, four 6AU6, two 6BX7, two 6AL5, and one of the others. The measurements are for the actual camera head, the smallest piece of the system. Additional units are rack-mounted deflection unit (12.5 inches high), rack mounted control unit (19.25 inches high) and an operator control panel (10x11x3 inches). The RCA Vidicon Film Equipment, TK-21C, is designed to be used with television motion picture projectors or slide projectors to produce a black and white picture signal suitable for application to a television studio switching system. All rack electronics receive 280 VDC regulated B+ power from a separate rack-mounted power supply and filament voltage from 6.3 VAC mains-powered filament transformers located on the individual rack units. The vidicon camera head receives all power, including 6.3VAC filament power through a large 24-pin camera cable.
