- Notes
-
Based on Kendall's earlier Meteor Three (1928 to 1930?), replacing original battery connections with a standardised terminal strip fitted with a Gramophone switich.
Switching between LW/MW and the alternate SW requires swapping a plug-in coil and operation of the SW/LW&MW switch, the LW/MW switch is ignored. On LW or MW the SW/LW&MW switch must be in the LW&MW postion and the switch on the dual band coil changes LW or MW.
External High impedance headphones, reed or horn speaker and also an external transformer and moving coil speaker was possible in 1933.
Ebonite panel (for Metor, hence not wide enough to match base) and wooden baseboard construction, though foil covering of copper or aluminum required (wooden case or cabinet always an option, Ready Radio supplied at least one box type cabinet).
