Will drive speaker for local stations and powerful foreign stations after dark.
PM2 with 120V HT requires the full -9V grid bias, PM2A with 120V HT requires -4.5V grid bias. In any case the 9V GB battery has all 6 cells tapped.
External High impedance headphones, reed or horn speaker and also an external transformer and moving coil speaker was possible in 1933.
Ebonite panel and wooden baseboard construction (wooden case or cabinet always an option, Ready Radio supplied at least one box type cabinet).
