  • The Retekess TR103 pocket radio features FM stereo (on earphones), MW, and SW bands. It plays MP3 audio files from the TF port.

    Brief technical description

    The design is based around a Si4734-D60 DSP receiver IC (U2) managed by a FCMC639.1 custom audio and MCU processor IC (U1) with the help of a T24C08A 8Kbit EEPROM. The FM/SW RF front-end uses a J8 N-FET and some RLC networks.A A7 dual diodes protect the N-FET from ESD coming fro  the antenna. 

    The built-in speaker is driven by a 8002D single channel audio power amplifier IC (U5) configured in BTL mode. The external earphones are driven by a XPT4809 stereo headphones amplifier.

    The power supply includes a H3UF LDO regulator by MicrOne, a A5sHB (SI2305) P-MOSFET as a battery switch managed by the MCU. Four more J6 NPN transistors handle auxiliary controls.
