R.G.S. model "Octa-Monic" employs a circuit wherein the grid circuit is tuned to the fundamental frequency of the broadcast station and the plate circuit to the second harmonic, thus increasing selectivity and sensitivity.
The R.G.S. "Octa-Monic" was available as a complete kit for a battery as well as an AC model and also as ready-to-operate modules. No cabinet was offered.
There appears to be a four tube model that most likely is battery only. The other models have six tubes (two different tube sets) and can operate on batteries or with a battery eliminator. The ads for these sets are somewhat confusing.
