  • RME was at its beginning manufacturer of Wartime Utility Receivers. Founded in 1944 most probably on purpose.

    On February 27th 1944, the Forces Programme was scrapped and the general Overseas Service became the General Forces Programme on 296.1 and 342.1 metres and on Shortwave.

    Wartime Civilian Receivers appeaerd in summer 1944.
