  • Anotaciones
  • The Ravensbrook FET FM Tuner is a simplified version of the Ravensbourne 2 Tuner. It incorporates many of the excellent features of its predecessor, including FET transistors in the RF unit, integrated circuits in the IF amplifier and ratio detector, and an identical stereo decoder and metering arrangement. The tuner is available in two configurations: as a chassis for integration into existing furniture, or as a shelf-mounted unit in a wooden case.

    Technical Details

    • RF Unit: The tuner utilizes FET (Field-Effect Transistor) technology in its RF stage, which contributes to its high-quality performance.
    • IF Amplifier and Detector: Integrated circuits are employed in both the IF amplifier and ratio detector, enhancing signal processing efficiency.
    • Stereo Decoder: The Ravensbrook FET FM Tuner features the same stereo decoder as its more advanced counterpart, ensuring excellent stereo separation.
    • Tuning Range: The tuner covers the standard FM band from 88 to 108 MHz

    Manufacturing

The tuner head, a critical component of the device, is manufactured by D & W Electronics of London, a reputable electronics company known for producing high-quality radio components.
