Ravensbrook Stereo Amplifier Series III (3)

The Ravensbrook Stereo Amplifier Series 3 builds upon the success of its predecessors, the Series 1 and 2 amplifiers, offering several key improvements and new features:

Power and Connectivity

• Increased Output: Uprated to 20 Watts per channel
• AC Outlet: New provision of an AC outlet facility

Input and Output Options

• Multiple Inputs: Disc, radio, and tape inputs provided
• Versatile Disc Input: Four-disc sensitivities to accommodate a wide range of high-quality pickup cartridges, including those with very low output
• Tape Connectivity: DIN socket for tape replay and record, duplicated at the rear of the chassis via a second DIN socket
• Tape Monitoring: Possible with tape recorders having separate replay heads

Advanced Controls

• Volume Control: Close tolerance ganged volume control matched to 1 dB
• Tone Controls: Wide-range bass and treble controls using a modified Baxendall circuit
• Balance: Vernier balance control for precise stereo imaging
• Filters: Switched high pass filter and a variable "slope" low pass filter

Transistor technology

• the amplifier uses driver transformers, which are quadrifilar wound, similar to those used in the Ravensbourne amp
• Silicon transistors are used throughout.

The Ravensbrook Series 3 represents a significant evolution in Rogers' amplifier lineup, offering improved power output, expanded connectivity options, and refined control features compared to its predecessors.
