  • There is a family of at least models 8D932, 8M932 and 8R932, used by De Forest Crosley, Rogers-Majestic and Rogers". Some have and others have no 10 preset buttons (twice 5). The magic eye 6X6 is difficult to find. It uses also a pair of 2X3 half wave rectifiers. The cabinet manufacturer for this particular model and many DeForest Crosley is Strathroy Furniture in Ontario, Canada and "Hartney" is merely the name of the retail outlet in Montreal. "Verdi" seems to be the model name, but we did not find a number - except the chassis number. The 8D932 shows a scale with broadcast 550 - 1700 kc, followed by 1.7 - 5.5 mc (called Amateur, Aviation, Police) and 5.5 - 18 mc and in the middle the magic eye shows through.
