  • A combined MW/LW/VHF stereo tuner and 2 x 20 watt stereo amplifier, a component in the Rotel Micro System 70 along with the Rotel RMD-70 Stereo Cassette Tape Deck. It is powered by AC mains or by an optional 12 volt battery powered Rotel RV-C1 DC-DC converter.

    On the rear, an AM ferrite bar antenna, connections for FM and AM aerials and on some  models a 75Ω coax FM aerial socket, RCA sockets for Phono input, Tape In and Out, terminals for one pair of loudspeakers, a socket for a Rotel RV-C1 DC-DC converter and a power outlet socket for powering the RMD-70 Stereo Cassette Deck. On the front, the tuner has a rotary tuning control, an FM Stereo indicator, 3 LED Signal Strength indicators and an illuminated dial pointer, the amplifier has press button switches for Power and Tape Monitor, rotary controls for Bass, Treble, Balance and Volume, a rotary Function switch (LW, MW, FM, FM Mute Off, Phono) and a Headphone jack.
