  • The SABA 300 Automatic 9T and 300 Automatic 9C are typical export models. C stands tor "console" and T for "table" model. The Automatic 300 9 has the same chassis as the Meersburg-Automatic 9 and is an AC operated 9 tube FM-BC-SW-LW receiver, the model 9C with 4 speed automatic record changer. One might think the models have 4 speakers - but you see on the photo for the inside that it is three speakers whith soundcompressor. Longwave is from 140 to 360 kc, Short wave from 5.9 to 18.9 mc, Broadcast from 510 to 1640 mc and FM from 88 to 108 mc.

    Both cabinets are the same but the dial glass is different, also the FM wave band etc. SAMS Photofact set #471, Folder 14 Date 1-60 is provided by member Dale Steel. The Importer was A. E. Dufenhorst Co., 121 N. Third Street, Rockford, Illinois..
