Guten Morgen Gemeinde,

mein Saba Automatictruhe Baden Chassis läuft, mein Breisgau Chassis dagegen bleibt stumm und ich bitte deshalb um eure Hilfe:

es gibt keinen Empfang, weder auf UKW noch auf den anderen Bereichen;

auch ist kein Rauschen o. dergl. zu hören;

wie muß ich (schrittweise) vorgehen, um den Fehler zu finden ?

Kondis wurden -noch- nicht gewechselt, die üblichen sind aber bereits bestellt; ein neues Magisches Auge wird demnächst eingebaut(russ. Ersatzröhre); der (auf UKW) Suchlauf läuft, findet jedoch keinen Sender;

mein Equipment:

1 E/A4000S-Regeltrenntrafo, 1 HM 230-4 Oszi, 1 M-980T Multimeter,  1 L/C-Meter sowie div. Handmultimeter + Lötstation etc.

Röhrenradio-Erfahrungen habe ich wenig bis fast keine, vor ca. 30 Jahren wurde ich Informationselektroniker -ein eher digitaler Bereich-

I am happy to be a new member of Radiomuseum.org.

I have a Saba Briesgau Automatic 8 in the shop for repair. The owner replaced the bad 0.8 ampere fuse with a 30 ampere fuse! This burned out the power transformer so I need to replace it. What is the required voltage on the center-tapped secondary winding of the power transformer? It appears that this transformer is used to power the motor tuning and muting circuitry.

The schematic for this radio is available from the radiomuseum.org archives but there are no voltages listed on the schematic.

Thank you for any reply that will help me select the correct transformer secondary voltage.
