  • There are 3 different models Serie 11. this is the 11-MA. The model 11-MA has 7 or 8 short wave bands plus band spread.

    The 11-MA was the "marine" version of the model 11.  It tuned 9.5 to 3750 meters. It appeared in the November 1936 issue of Short Wave Craft as a "New Sargent Receiver".

I have written a small incomplete history for E.M. Sargent Co. and added the model 11-MA plus WAC-44. Unfortunately we have little information for this small maker of radios and later mainly boatanchors - communication receivers which also have been used by short wave radio amateurs.

Can you tell us anything about the company, this model or other models of E.M. Sargent Co.?
