  • Features of the SBR 542 A: The dial light (scale illumination) changes depending on the selected wavelenght. When broadcast band is selected, only that part of the scale is illuminated, the same for short wave, long wave and if the selector is in the pick-up position only the pink dot "phono" on the scale is lit. Tone control is on left side of the cabinet. The SBR542A was a rather expensive radio; special features for that era, large cabinet, tone control, luxurious finish.
