    • The 834x series radios have silent tuning, anti-fading (AVC) and a neon tuning indicator of unknown type at this time. However, there is a suspicion that it could be a GJR320Z like in the 534x series.
    • There are 2 output tubes in push-pull to provide for powerfull audio.
    • There is an alternative tubeset from Philips: E447 E446 E447 E444 E415 E443H E443H 1561
    • SBR produced the following models 834:
      • 834x2: table model with loudspeaker;
      • 834x3: luxury console;
      • 834x4: luxury console with pickup;
      • 834x5: Luxury console of alternative design with record changer.

    where 'x' represents 'A' (AC mains) or 'C' (DC mains, 220V).
