  • Annotazioni
  • The Sears Silvertone 7050 "Deluxe Concert Grand" is an AC operated 10 tube BC and SW receiver. Has phonograph input jack, push-pull output stage and Qty(2) internal loop antenna's (used for BC band) selected with a switch on the front of the radio. Uses bias cell for first audio tube (6SQ7GT).

Band Frequency Ranges are as follows:
    BC Band (Band "A").............540-1700 kHz
    SW1 Band (Band "B")..........6.0-18.0 MHz
    SW2 Band (Band "C")..........9.4-9.8 MHz
    SW3 Band (Band "D")..........11-12 MHz

Catalog states: Two built-in Aerial Loops of newest low impedance type are also push button controlled!  One aerial is set to receive with maximum strength the broadcasting stations to the East or West; while the other aerial is set for station signals from the North or South.  Where built-in aerial reception is not satisfactory, and for short wave reception, an outside aerial must be used. Gorgeous Console Cabinet of sliced walnut verneers and Sapeli wood inlays, superbly built and finished in the expensive hand-rubbed manner usually found only in finest furiture.

Note: Stein mentions only 2 bands, which is an error and is not correct.
