  • The Sears Silvertone 6-Tube Screen Grid or Silvertone 106 with a "triple screen grid circuit and four-gang ball bearing condenser; phonograph pick-up jack; single illuminated dial" has a single dial tuning and volume control on front. The "cabinet is of a new vogue-low-boy type, simple but rich in apperance, top and instrument panel of genuine five-ply walnut." This model 106 from 1931 should not be confused with the earlier model 106A from 1930. It has probably the same chassis/schematic but you can see differences on the cabinets - for instance loudspeaker grille.
